Kayaking

At Camp Lincoln, we use single-person kayaks as a part of our Wilderness Program. Teaching focuses on river and lake kayaking. We also have several trips to nearby rivers offered during the summer for the dedicated Kayaker. Our Kayaking curriculum includes paddling, steering, capsizing, T-rescuing, sculling, seal launching, and Eskimo rolls. While at Kayaking our staff will track the progress of each camper with an achievement-based awards system. In accordance with Camp Lincoln’s safety standards, all campers and staff wear lifejackets while participating in this activity.
