Stacey Dyer

Stacey Dyer

Stacey hails from Colorado, where she grew up at Sanborn Western Camp, where her father was a Director. She joined the Camp Lake Hubert family for 5 years as a camper, including the LT program, and more years on staff when she did everything from a counselor, to High Ropes Activity Director. Stacey has returned to the shores of Lake Hubert for many summers assisting with staff training and now works year-round from her home in Ft Collins, CO. At camp, Stacey can be found at the barn, at the range, on the waterfront, in the kitchen or even making “monkey bread” for a snack. At home, Stacey finds time to work with children doing aquatic therapy.

Favorite Camp Activity: High Ropes
Best Camp Memory: Taking the horses for a swim in Lake Hubert
Favorite Camp Meal: BLT Sandwiches
Childhood Hobbies: Horseback Riding
Favorite Camp Core Value: Excellence
Goofiest thing I’ve done at Camp: Making 24 loaves of banana bread at one time using Camp’s 100-year-old mixer. Best bread ever and I am sure it was all about the mixer.

How you have managed to develop a program that keeps children happy, helps them to grow, and makes their parents feel so satisfied all at the same time…I have no idea. But I’m very glad that you guys are so good at what you do!
